finally found one i don't mind using every day

been making this iced with oat milk before work for the last couple weeks. 3g seems to be the sweet spot for me because i still get a decent matcha taste after adding milk, but it isn't aggressively bitter. i bought the smaller bag just to try it and probably should've gone bigger.

good latte matcha, took me a couple tries though

first cup was honestly a little too grassy for me. i was using too much powder and water that was probably hotter than it needed to be. second try i backed off the amount, added ice + soy milk and liked it way more. i probably wouldn't buy this specifically to drink straight, but for weekday lattes it's solid.

Totally fair — 003 is definitely the one we reach for more with milk too. Glad the second cup worked better, and thank you for giving it another shot!

my sister is going through this faster than me

bought it for my own lattes and now my sister keeps using it for strawberry matcha 😭 i mostly do mine with soy milk and no syrup. it has enough bitterness to still taste like tea but isn't super umami-heavy, which is actually what i prefer for a latte. ordering the bigger size next time because apparently i'm sharing now.

Strawberry matcha is such a good use for 003 too — hope the bigger bag lasts a little longer!
