Matcha 003 (culinary grade): Fresh and grassy, bright and smooth. Its flavor stays clear in lattes, smoothies, and baked goods.
Both are finely milled and whisk into an even foam.
How to Use
How to Use
One serving is 3g. Each 30g tin makes about 10 cups.
Matcha 007, whisked straight
1. Sift 3g into a bowl.
2. Add about 60ml (2 oz) of hot water, 80–85°C (175–185°F).
3. Whisk briskly until a fine foam covers the surface. Drink it as is, or pour over ice and cold water for a matcha americano.
Matcha 003, as a latte
1. Sift 3g into a cup.
2. Add about 60ml (2 oz) of hot water and whisk until smooth.
3. Top with 180ml (6 oz) of hot or iced milk. Sweeten to taste.
For baking, use Matcha 003 and sift it in with your dry ingredients.
