At The Song Cha, we believe tea deserves respect. Because our products are consumable food items, our return policy reflects both safety standards and our commitment to quality.
Returns on Tea Products
Due to the nature of tea as a perishable and consumable product, we do not accept returns or refunds on tea powders or loose-leaf tea once fulfilled or shipped.
Tea absorbs air and moisture. Once delivered, it cannot be restocked or resold for safety and quality reasons. This policy protects product integrity and every customer we serve.
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Consumable tea products
- Final Sale items
- Gift cards
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@thesongcha.com.
Include your order number and clear photos of the issue so we can evaluate the situation promptly.
If confirmed, we will issue a replacement or refund to your original payment method.
If You’re Not Satisfied
Taste is personal. Preparation matters.
If your tea experience wasn’t what you expected, contact us within 7 days of delivery. While consumable products are not eligible for return, we may offer brewing guidance or store credit at our discretion.

Merchandise Returns
Unused non-consumable merchandise (such as tea accessories, tools, or brewing equipment) may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
Items must:
- Be unused
- Be in original packaging
- Include all original materials
Items showing signs of use, wear, or damage will not be eligible for return.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was damaged or incorrect. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
